Tell us about your new single/ album/ tour?
It’s a heavy-blues infused fuzzed out jam that transport the mind into the swelling, darker depths of rock n’ roll. This album is our first Long Player release, due out Aug 11 via Kozmik Artifactz (Ger). Pre-orders are shifting surprisingly quick.
What’s your favourite work at this point in time? (your own or your group’s work)
‘Hypnotica’ – the first single we’re plugging from our debut LP. It’s getting an overwhelmingly positive response.
Tell us a quick, on the road or studio, anecdote.
“…so we’re in the greenroom post The Sword’s support set and their guitarist is walking around with an apple. In my head – ‘Oh he’s trying to be healthy on tour, nice one man’ – apparently not. We traversed back to our 16yr old former selfs and then got kicked out of the bar shortly after for greening out the greenroom.”
What, or who, inspires you?
The success of hard-working artists, regardless of field. Sabbath, Jack White, Uncle Acid, our photo-genius-sound-wizard Joel Adams, and the positive praise of punters witnessing our live show for the first time.
Which song do you wish you wrote?
Paranoid, the album.
How would you describe your sound in food form and why?
A well-plated chili-infused Eggs Benny . We’re doing a modern take on a classic genre.
What’s next for you?
‘Hypnotica’ Launch Show, June 23 – Cherry Bar.
Touring Aug-Oct, Asia in December, Europe ideally next year. Repeat.
What’s your scene?
Heavy-slower riffs people can bang their head to.
