The Go!! Show was a ground-breaking phenomenon when it first went to air 53 years ago, introducing live and local music to a new generation of music fans.  It hit television screens in 1964 hot on the heels of the lifestyle shattering tour of The Beatles, creating the perfect vehicle for a stable of local teen stars and changing the lives of generations of Baby Boomers.
